Tony Belisle,
Director

Mr. Belisle has over 25 years of insurance and investment experience, starting with Sun Financial Group (erstwhile Sun Life of Canada) and then tenures with Goldman Sachs & Co., Citadel Investment Group, Fidelity Investments Deutsche Bank, and lastly with Oxygen Insurance Brokers. During his tenure has been credited with pioneering several unique structures within the reinsurance industry especially in areas of catastrophic risk that have included the collateralized reinsurance approach and associated set of contracts. Tony is an actuary and a fellow (FSA) of the North American Society of Actuaries. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire.

Jason Bibb,
Director

Mr. Bibb is an investment professional with more than 15 years of investment management experience for U.S. and non-U.S. alternative investment vehicles. Prior to joining the Investment Manager, he was a co-Founder of ISIS Fund Services Ltd. in Bermuda. He was also previously director and Chief Operating Officer of Citigroup Inc.’s alternative investments division and North American product head. Mr. Bibb also spent 10 years with Martin Currie Investment Management Limited. Member of the Institute of Investment Management and Research (IIMR) and of UK Society of Investment Professionals (UKSIP) and a Chartered Company Secretary of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ACIS)

Sunil Talwar,
Non-executive Director

Mr Talwar is the Chief Financial Officer & Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Insurance Company. Mr. Talwar joined QIC in 1986 and, during his tenure, QIC has grown into one of the largest and most highly rated insurers in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He is responsible for the complete financial management of QIC and is part of the executive management committee and the investment committee of the Company Mr. Talwar is the Chief Executive Officer of the recently launched Asset Management Company which has been awarded an external advisory mandate to manage the first AIM-listed Qatar Fund. Mr. Talwar qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1976 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Sandeep Nanda,
Non-executive Director

Mr Nanda is an Executive Vice President, Investments and Treasury of Qatar Insurance Company. Mr. Nanda has over 20 years experience in financial services including extensive experience across the spectrum of financial services, including portfolio and treasury management. Mr. Nanda joined QIC in 2003 to head the investment and treasury function and during his tenure the investment assets have grown three fold to over US$ 1 BN. He is responsible for the day to day management of the department. Mr. Nanda is also responsible for advising the equity portfolio of Epicure Qatar Equity Opportunities, the first AIM-Listed Qatar Fund. Prior to joining QIC, Mr. Nanda was with TAIB Bank EC, a leading global investment bank based out of Bahrain, prior to which he was with Delloitte as a Chartered Accountant.. Mr. Nanda qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India and also holds a Bachelors Degree in Commerce (Hon’s) from the University of Delhi.

Nigel Barton
Non-executive Chairman

Mr Barton has extensive insurance and reinsurance experience having working in the industry for 35 years. From 2002 to 2011, he was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Oxygen Holdings plc, a specialist insurance broking business based in London, United Kingdom. Between 1984 to 2002, Mr Barton was a director of DP Mann Holdings Ltd ("DP Mann"), a Lloyds Managing Agency, which was acquired by General Reinsurance Corporation/Berkshire Hathaway Inc. in 1998. After DP Mann had changed its name to Faraday Underwriting, Mr Barton had the role of Director of Underwriting, and then ultimately Chief Executive Officer. From 1976 to 1984, Mr Barton worked at Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking, where his focus was on catastrophe reinsurance and retrocession classes.
Mr. Barton holds a Masters in Business Administration, and has performed various executive and non-executive committee and director appointments within the Lloyds of London market. He is a non-executive director of CRS Yachts, a specialist insurance broker exclusively servicing the superyacht owner and industry.

James Keyes
Non-executive Director

James Keyes has been a Managing Director of Renaissance Capital since 1 October 2008 and established the Bermuda office for Renaissance in 2008. Mr. Keyes was previously a partner of Appleby, the offshore law firm, for 11 years. Mr. Keyes joined Appleby in 1993 and was team leader of the Funds & Investment Services Team. Prior to Appleby, he was employed in the corporate department of the law firm Freshfields, and worked in the London, New York and Hong Kong offices. Mr. Keyes attended Oxford University in England as a Rhodes Scholar and graduated with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (M.A. with Honours) in 1985. He was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 1991 and to the Bermuda Bar in 1993. He became a Notary Public in 1998.

Alastair Barbour
Non-executive Director

Alastair Barbour is a Chartered Accountant with 25 years experience spent auditing and advising Boards of Directors and executive management of public companies and groups in the UK and internationally, principally in the financial services industry. Previously, he was a senior partner of KPMG having been with that organisation between 1985 and 2011. Mr. Barbour has in the last five years, and continues to be, a Director of the following companies, Liontrust Asset Management PLC and Standard Life European Private Equity Trust PLC. Mr Barbour was appointed non-executive director of RSA Insurance Group plc on October 10, 2011.

Margaret Gadow
Non-executive Director

Margaret Gadow has over 23 years experience in equities investment management. She followed Japanese equities at Credit Suisse (Geneva) for two years before moving on to managing Asian emerging equities for thirteen years, working at Robert Fleming and then Gartmore. Upon leaving fund management in 2003, Margaret served as non-executive director for an offshore China fund for four years and also ran her own investment management consultancy. Most recently, she served as Product Manager (UK Equities) at Schroders in London for five years. She holds a degree in political science and international relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
